Happy Mother's Day

 Hallo,

Welcome back to the blog. The tasks I gave you last time were fun, right? BTW, Happy Mother's Day!!! I made my mother a card, a poem, bookmarks, breakfast and lip scrub.  I even gave her a manicure. But, you don't have to go all out, just appreciate your mother. I just want to take a moment and tell you how spectacular the book, Big Magic. This book gave me a whole new perspective on ideas and creativity. It's time for the story.


Marathon Rotterdam. The marathon, Reshmi was challenged to do. Reshmi was dared by her children to run a marathon as she was once the athletic star of her college. She had trained for 20 mins for 1 week. That morning she told herself, "I have the power to create change." over and over again. She got into her old track pants and her lucky shirt. She drove to the city centre, to see more than 10,000 people. On the side desk, there were rolls, sandwiches, stroopwafels and balls of gouda cheese. A person shot a bullet in the sky, which was a signal that the marathon had begun. She ran as fast as she could for 5 minutes. Then, she took a break and drank chocomel. She resumed to only realise that she had run so fast that first time, she had overrun more than half of the people. 20 minutes later she was panting and looked back to see a crowd of people rushing towards her. Suddenly competitiveness rushed through her, making her run very fast. Reshmi was nearing the finish line, yet she jogged instead of running. Then when she crossed the finish line she was dragged by a person and was told, "Gefeliciteerd! You got a fourth-place" in a strong Dutch accent. She was overwhelmed with joy and saw her children shouting that "She's our mom!" Reshmi gave her children a very big hug and was happy to see the pride that her children showed.

This story is a Mother's day special.
