When the Winds Stopped

Hello, It's Feather with a new post. How did you enjoy your 20 mins of nostalgia from last time? Today's story idea came to me when I was cycling. It is not a part of the magical objects series but, I really love today's story and I hope you like it too. Also, I decided to discuss a topic in every post as a new addition.  Miley was cycling as fast as she could through the narrow roads of Alolan. The wind was furiously charging at her. Miley cycled the fastest in her group of friends. She had unkempt brown hair which was always tied into pigtails. She wore a denim cap, which was given to her by her father from a foreign country. She never bothered to wear shoes, which resulted in her being barefoot most of the time.  She cycled, pushing against the wind till she reached the large water tank which provided water to the whole town. She stopped there for a while, admiring the majestic, black water tank which stored gallons of water. Then she took a turn and resumed her competit

Magical Objects #2_The Reflection Jewel

Surprise! You must be wondering why did I post today? Well, I decided to make more stories for this series and once a week is too long of a waiting period, even for me. So, this week and the next I'll be posting on a weekday and Sunday. Happy World Bee Day!! I was actually hesitant to post today's story because it is not that great. But, I remembered something from a book I recently read (Big Magic). It was that when you do something you shouldn't hesitate to show it to the world. Just do it and move on to the next project. Now, it's time to read the story: Jane was once a majestic queen. She had everything she desired. But, she was self-absorbed and disrespectful to others. King Handon, Queen Jane's husband loved her dearly but, disliked her behaviour. He was loyal and gratifying to his subjects. so, he detested seeing her nasty behaviour. One day, Queen Jane took a stroll to the royal pond. At the centre of the pond, there was a lotus. A deep blue colour gem tha

Magical Objects #1_The Starry Umbrella

G'day mate, Welcome back to the blog. Today I wanted to start something exciting, so I decided to make a series of stories for my blog. This series is called "Magical Objects". In each post, I will have a new story about a different magical object. Did you enjoy the task from last week? I sure did. I hope you enjoy the first story of this series.  A strange man in fine clothes was begging out on the streets. He had a black umbrella with him. A passer-by noticed the strange man's umbrella and desperately wanted it. She asked the man for his umbrella in exchange for a hundred dollars. He naturally agreed and gave her the umbrella with a warning, "Don't get too lost..." And he was gone within the blink of an eye. She walked back to her cottage with the brand new umbrella. She hung it on her coat stand and went to make her evening tea. Her little retriever, Bean was staring at the umbrella uneasily. It was nighttime and she was heading to the bed when she sa

Happy Mother's Day

Hallo, Welcome back to the blog. The tasks I gave you last time were fun, right? BTW, Happy Mother's Day!!! I made my mother a card, a poem, bookmarks, breakfast and lip scrub.  I even gave her a manicure. But, you don't have to go all out, just appreciate your mother. I just want to take a moment and tell you how spectacular the book, Big Magic. This book gave me a whole new perspective on ideas and creativity. It's time for the story. Marathon Rotterdam. The marathon, Reshmi was challenged to do. Reshmi was dared by her children to run a marathon as she was once the athletic star of her college. She had trained for 20 mins for 1 week. That morning she told herself, "I have the power to create change." over and over again. She got into her old track pants and her lucky shirt. She drove to the city centre, to see more than 10,000 people. On the side desk, there were rolls, sandwiches, stroopwafels and balls of gouda cheese. A person shot a bullet in the sky, whic

Murders and thrills

Bonjour! Welcome back to my blog. I'm extremely sorry for the late post: I was having writer’s block. Today’s story is a teaser of a book I am currently writing. So, my viewers get an exclusive sneak peak on my book.📖 If you have done your tasks you will know about the dangers of radioactivity and the unfortunate story of Chernobyl. Did you listen to jazz music? This form of music is wonderful and I love it very much. Let’s get into the story, shall we? Dr Harinish Shetty, the head surgeon of Srinivas hospital was murdered. His hotel room in Le Château Rouge was clean and it did not look like a disastrous event had just happened.  The room service entered to clean his room and had found a cardboard box around 50 inches inside a cupboard with the doctor in it! Horrified at the sight, he contacted the manager. The case of this murder was taken by detective Orlando who had solved many cases like the theft of the Mona Lisa. He didn't look like  a detective, rather like a normal
