The Summer Of Everything Book Review

Image
Hello readers, I finished a book a week or 2 back and wrote an in-depth review on it so please continue reading. The Summer of Everything is about Wesley Hudson whose summer has gone terribly wrong and he has to face adulthood. I picked this book up as a part of a side quest in the Pondathon . I was a little bit disappointed with the end of the book but it was cute. I don't really get the hype around this book though. I do agree that it was a cute read. I think I set my expectations too high for this book and it isn’t the type of topic that I have too much interest in. Once, I finished the book I felt really good and it was a good way to end the day. This book would come under the genres of community, friendship, romance and young adult. I think what makes this book unique is its aspects of drawing attention to different types of music, comic books, a bookstore and the beauty of Santa Monica. I love Once Upon a Page after this read! I didn’t like this book that much because

So, in this side quest, I want to show you my food soulmate. MY SOULMATE IS THE CALIFORNIA ROLL!! This side quest is with the amazing author Alechia Dow! She wrote a wonderful book 'The Kindred'. You should definitely check this book out! Join me and all the others on this side quest! And now updates for the blog renovation- I am already done with half of the renovation things as you may have noticed. My schedule is going to become more packed so the renovation is not going to be done for another week or 2. Thank you for being so patient. I promise you after the renovation it'll be worth the wait. Back and Excited

Hey everyone, I'M BACK. This time I have an exciting post.  My blog is now not only for stories and poems. We have book reviews, some movie and show reviews, challenges and a secret that you will see in the following post. I will also update my schedule in an upcoming post. Now you can see what the future posts are too! But since all of this updating takes a lot of time and effort you won't be seeing any posts often because the blog is going to get renovated. The estimated time for that would probably take around 2-3 weeks. So I hope you understand. Byeee, F E A T H E R

Glad!

Ciao readers, I'm so glad to write again. Today, I will be just posting a poem. I couldn't write a story because of reasons that I will tell you soon. This poem is the story of Prahlad. *** When I was born, There was not a single horn. I was not evil like my father wished, But rather certainly bliss. My father believed I was cruel, But something was saying it was a duel. I grew to be my father's tree, But enemy as my guru sees. He struck me for believing in my lord, Who was the foe of his. His lord was the king of thee, And also the father of me. My father called to his court, Which was in his grand fort. And he asked me who I praise? I replied, "Only who Vishnu says." He stared at me in complete shock, And asked himself, is my son the problem lock? He tried to make me die, But, I was a heavenly ally. Poison was sweet, And a fire was elite. Then came a day Where he furiously lay, On his majestic seat. "If your God is everywhere", He said in complete desp

Adventures with Miss Marvolo #1

Bonjour my dear readers, This is the 10th post of my blog and thanks y'all for 400 views!!! Sorry for the late post. I keep telling you guys, sorry about not posting, that's why this month there are going to be a few updates in this blog. Let's start with a new colour scheme and greetings of different languages. Today's story is the beginning of a story that is currently in the works. I will be writing more of this story in the upcoming posts. My murder book has been cancelled. Why? Because I had a thrill for murder mysteries for a very short period of time, I don't think I'm ready to write a book yet. Ok, here we go- In the early 1960's I received a television from my uncle. My uncle, Dan was fantabulously rich and took great interest in modern objects. He was particularly intrigued by the television. Besides the fact that it took him 2 hours to switch it on, it looked like a box! When I passed by, he was entangled in wires and cables, staring at the instru

A quick post!!

Hi everyone today's post is a quick one because I'm writing this very late in the night. As promised here is your weekly post. Walks, it takes everyone on a beautiful journey, everything you do is important. My walks with Mr Naidu were most enlightening. Mr Naidu is a 50-year-old man with a jolly spirit. Walks with him were the most interesting, new topics and delightful things pop out of nowhere. At 7 a.m and 5 p.m every day he would carefully get out of his house, slipping the house keys under the welcome carpet. In the mornings his talks would be peaceful and calm and in the evenings it would be filled with gossip. If he saw children he would take out a toffee from his crumpling pocket. Everyone in the community loved him. His best quality was the forgiving and tender attitude he had. Mr Naidu is not someone you see every day.  Thank you, everyone, see you next time. BTW how was your picnic? Feather
